Just because someone says “oh more designer bags doesn’t mean they are the thief. Yes clearly it’s someone from DHL but judging someone without facts is just as ugly as being a thief! I’m so sorry this happened to you nobody deserves that, and I understand your feeling a lot of emotions over your bags. However it could have been much worse, so count your blessings. 😊🙏🏻

So sorry this has happened to you! I’m having to sell a bunch of higher end goods, myself, and I am actually terrified because of this very thing. No one deserves it at all ever. And people are mean for saying stuff like that. I once had a regular delivery person comment about what a sneaker head. I am SMH… I get that some of my boxes say Nike or new balance on them because of the nature of where I’m buying them from, but I just don’t like the implication that someone actually knows my shopping habits like that. it feels really tough though in the world where we’re all being so closely scrutinized, even by the social media we follow. My algorithm seems taylor fit just for me whilst my sister’s is mostly geared towards knitting and gardening. It’s very scary.

Wow so sorry it happened to you. Unfortunately this happens too often these days also in the US. Those companies can't be trusted anymore. So many stolen antique jewelry too, it makes it difficult to deliver anything valuable. And yet they are charging so much for delivery.

Omg I thought this is a 'what if I lost all my bags' vid😢. Im sorry this happened to you. I hate ..HATE..thieves. I hope the culprit will be caught. I also fear ordering online expensive items, esp handbags, I always go to the store and I planned to sell some of my lux bags online but I worry it will be stolen in the mail. I know these are just things but it doesn't mean it's ok to steal other people's stuff. Please..please pursue this. Some of Tamara's bags were recovered and it took over a year but these theves need to learn their lesson.

Make a police report. Internal investigation at DHL will drag their feet, giving the thief time to sell or hide goods.

These are handbags not kidneys or life savings. Sorry But rant about DHL and your fevor for vengeance is imho extreme. People have had more important items stolen than a few handbags. Be grateful this won't make or break your bank account.

This is so horrible. I’m sorry this happened to you. I hope you see this bc I’ve had the same thing happen to me, and I started using security packing tape. It’s a colored tape that actually cannot be removed without leaving marks on a box. I also video every single second of packing now including showing the item and its serial date code and keep the video running until the second I deliver the box to be shipped. I’ve actually had the shipment companies I’ve used in the US fight me on my theft claim the first time it happened, so that’s why I’ve taken so many steps to protect myself. The second time it happened to me (different shipment company), they had no way to fight me bc of all the documentation I had. It’s so violating for this to happen, and I hope you catch them and they are fully prosecuted.

That’s terrible. That should’ve never happened to you and no matter what people say nobody deserves to be stolen from whether it’s at their house on the street and I would think especially when you’re trusting a mail delivery service but that doesn’t surprise me at all there are thieves everywhere.!!! I’m truly sorry this happened to you and I hope you do find the person and that you do press charges just know that you are not alone in feeling this way

I would love to see what bags you are showing from the picture of the video or the title because sometimes I am looking for a specific bag to scroll off. I had my wallet and checkbook stolen out of my purse at work. Unfortunately, I had $2400 in cash stuffed in the back of my checkbook. Sold a car and hadn’t made it to the bank. The bad part is that it was someone I worked with. I was screwed up for 2 to 3 months. It is an awful feeling.

Here's an idea that came to me after I watched this. To those out there that have to use a service like this, ask the driver for ID and take a picture of his liscence. Maybe its uncomfortable but who cares it's a lot of money and if they know you have their ID info they'll think twice before taking anything.

I would never have a pick up for valuables. Photos before packing is critical as well as signature across tape to ensure remains unopened.

Good luck. I had a fedex employee outright steal my Dyson item last year. It would say on the truck one day delayed the next. When i filed a claim and demanded they handle the employee i was kindly told the claim covered my replacement item and the matter was no longer my concern. Same fedex employee delivered my new Dyson and threw it at my front door from 15 feet away to keep me from confronting her. I avoid fedex at all costs and the police indicated it is “lost mail” and they will not involve themselves. Hopefully your police are more receptive. The fedex manager basically called me a “karen” for wanting them to discipline the driver.

I'm in the US so I don't know how it works there but did you call the police? Have they opened up an investigation?

This just happened to me. I sent a bag through USPS to Poshmark to sell and it never arrived. I'm in the process trying to file the paperwork.

As someone who’s gone thru this I’m so sorry ur experiencing the horrid feeling of violation from this type of theft 😢!! TIPS to help w/ any future mailing: Film the packing process so u have evidence in event of a claim. Use tamper-proof tape to seal the box. Buy insurance that properly covers ur item value in case of damage or theft. Keep ANY receipts offered (driver pickup tag, time of drop-off, etc) - this can tell them who was initially responsible for the pkg & where to start an internal investigation.

Firstly, i agree you not to give up and hunt the person down, it is obviously not alright. But never using DHL, is based on their staff stolen your thing or the attitude they handle your case? It sounds to me that it’s like you’ve met a very bad tourist and start hating the entire country 😅 Anyways i hope we all can hear the update of that person being arrested soon. God blessed.
